CHA makes use of small working groups to assist with the implementation of special projects.
Working group members assist with:
- Workshopping ideas.
- Testing material.
- Bringing in the knowledge of the network.
- Ensuring all projects are successful and meet the needs of the hub community.
Being part of a working group is an opportunity for professional development. You will have the opportunity to:
- Contribute knowledge and skills and learn the process for implementing national projects across the network.
- Work with colleagues from other states and regions, as well as external stakeholders.
- Build on your professional skills and experience by adding new responsibilities to your current role.
Funding and requirements
Payment for working group participation
All working group members will be remunerated for their time. Your time contribution to the working group is in addition to your hub leader hours.
The hourly rate is $40 and this is in addition to your current salary.
You will be paid directly by CHA for your time. You will need to provide your bank details and submit a timesheet for your hours.
The number of participants for each working group is restricted and selection is based on the needs for each individual working group.
Opportunities will be promoted via Galaxy and through your Support Coordinators.
Requirements
- Working groups will meet for a minimum of two meetings and will be conducted online unless otherwise stated.
- Each meeting will go for one to two hours and will be held, where possible, outside of hub operating hours.
- Participants will also be paid for meeting preparation – this could be an additional one to two hours per meeting.
- Participation must be approved by your employer and your support coordinator.
